When you top-up using the RECHARGE button on your c1ik control panel, your credit is automatically added to any existing credit that you had left. You credit only reduces when you are actualy online. As soon as you disconnect, your credit will remain until you use the internet again, or your c1ik service expires (usually after six months). Everytime you top up, you extend your service by a further six months.
